Actionable Signals

IntoTheBlock’s Actionable Signals are based on models that are optimized to gauge future price movements. Each of these models is represented by a signal, and these are split into three categories: On-chain, Exchange and Derivatives.
IntoTheBlock’s Actionable Signals, just like the Token Summary metrics, are based on IntoTheBlock’s indicators, which can be found on the Deep Dive section. Unlike the Token Summary metrics, these signals are not just a different representation of those underlying indicators, but rather momentum signals based on the indicators’ changes. IntoTheBlock has built models that observe those changes and compare them to their price impact in the past using different techniques and time horizons depending on the specific signal and crypto-asset in question. Each of these models is represented by a signal, and these are split into three categories: On-chain, Exchange and Derivatives.
All actionable signals go through a rigorous testing process where each model must perform better than the baseline scenario. They are also re-optimized periodically to assure high quality performance. All models are trained and adjusted for every crypto-asset supported. Therefore, the thresholds for what is considered bullish, neutral and bearish vary by model and crypto-asset.
